400g can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 tsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp paprika or cayenne pepper
sea salt and ground black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 150ºC
- Put the chickpeas in a bowl and add the oil. Toss well to coat, then tip into a baking tray and cook in the oven for 1 hour or until crisp, shaking the tray to move the chickpeas around from time to time.
- Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with paprika or cayenne pepper and seasoning.
- Shake the chickpeas in the tray to coat thoroughly and then leave to cool
